Junior IT Support Analyst

As an IT Junior Support Analyst, you’ll be the frontline responder to technical inquiries from office staff, outlets, and remote workers. You’ll collaborate with IT supervisors and vendors to maintain system integrity, monitoring and addressing issues with tills, servers, and networks. Additionally, you’ll assist insetting up new equipment and contribute to generating business reports, ensuring smooth IT operations organization- wide.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Provide first line support to all office staff, outlets and home-workers.
  • Providing help & supporting end users; solving problems at the application level as well as hardware troubleshooting
  • Respond, document and resolve support calls in a timely manner.
  • Create new users, login profiles and permissions at both application and domain level.
  • Monitor status of tills, servers & networks, liaising with IT Supervisor & 3rd party suppliers to resolve issues.
  • Setup and test new equipment.
  • Prepare and present business reports using various tools
  • Assist in any other areas when necessary.
Educational and skill requirements
  • Excellent communication and technical skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Microsoft 365 and Windows technologies
  • Experience with using relational databases and SQL Knowledge would be considered an asset
  • Experience with Epos systems, desirable but not a requirement
  • Experience in Retail Pro desirable but not a requirement
  • Experience in Qlik or any other business intelligence tool desirable but not a requirement
