Logistics and Inventory Clerk

ESSE Ltd. on behalf of Evolve RS Group are currently seeking to recruit a Logistics and Inventory Clerk to join their team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Department Manager and will have the opportunity to form part of a supportive team of professionals. The incumbent will be in charge of the trading operations of the company.

Responsibilities include:

• In charge of shipping, customs, etc of goods purchased, until in stock;
• Forecasting of stock;
• Create stock cards, ensuring they are properly documented;
• Research sourcing for new material;
• Compare prices with local and foreign suppliers;
• Keeping an eye on what local competitors are doing in the market and making sure that the products the company offer are placed in the right place at the right price on the market;
• Choose the suppliers that the company will deal with and maintain the legal interaction with them;
• Finding new suppliers for current or new products to be sold by the company;
• General office and administrative duties that may arise from time to time;
• Engage in any other task commensurate with the role.
  
  

The selected candidate would preferably have the following skills and abilities:

• Preferably working experience in the sector;
• Ideally, experience in Shireburn;
• Have basic knowledge of computer skills including Excel;
• Proactive with high motivation and a positive attitude;
• Possess strong communication skills in both Maltese and English
