Maintenance Personnel

Mizzi Motors is looking for a Maintenance Personnel who will perform any basic repairs and maintenance works in the various showrooms, offices, workshops, washbays, bodyshop, VRT station, warehouses and storage garages of all the automotive companies.

Main tasks and responsibilities

To perform a wide variety of general maintenance activities (e.g. carpentry, painting, electrical, lighting, plumbing, drainage and welding, etc.) within established time frames.
To assist any sub-contractors when working on site.
To ensure that the workshop is kept clean and tidy.
To maintain good care of all Company safety equipment, tools and to keep stock.
To reconcile any daily receipts with the HR Manager and/or FHSE.To coordinate with the FHSE regarding any purchases to be made.
To conduct preventive maintenance to reduce the risk of equipment failure and ensure a safe working environment.
To report any unsafe observations, dangerous occurrences, near-miss incidents and accidents to the FHSE.

Educational and skill requirements

With proven of 3 years experience in Maintenance roles, ideally in Industrial Setting.
Candidates possessing wiremen’s Electrical Licence A and/or B will be preferred.
Other certifications in plumbing, electrical or related fields are considered an asset.
Possess a clean and valid driving licence.
Possess a clean police conduct.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Team player with good communication skills.
Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting.
Ability to operate hand and power tools.
