The role involves assessing immigration applications, verifying travel and identity documents, conducting interviews, ensuring compliance with immigration regulations, and providing guidance to applicants and travellers.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Examine immigration applications, passports, visas, and supporting documents to determine eligibility and compliance with immigration laws.
Conduct interviews, verify identities, and assess the authenticity of documentation provided by applicants and travellers.
Monitor compliance with immigration regulations, investigate potential breaches, and prepare reports or recommendations as required.
Provide accurate information and professional assistance to applicants, travellers, and stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality and regulatory standards.
