Official, Government Tax And Excise

• Assess tax returns, excise declarations, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with tax legislation and government regulations.  
• Conduct audits, inspections, and investigations to identify discrepancies, underpayments, or potential tax and excise violations.  
• Provide advice and assistance to taxpayers, businesses, and stakeholders regarding tax obligations, excise duties, and regulatory requirements.  
• Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and support the enforcement of tax and excise legislation while upholding confidentiality and professional standards. 

Educational and skill requirements
Applicant Must:

• Be fluent in English and/or Maltese   
• Be customer-oriented   
• Be willing to learn and work effectively as part of a team   
• Have relevant experience in the position applied for
