Pizzaiolo (Part Time)

Location: La Sorpresa Restaurant & Pizzeria, Bugibba

La Sorpresa is a well-established trattoria and pizzeria in the heart of Bugibba. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Pizzaiolo to join our kitchen team. Candidates must have a strong background in traditional pizza-making and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, stretch, and shape pizza dough by hand
• Top and bake pizzas using a traditional stone gas oven
• Maintain consistent food quality, cleanliness, and kitchen standards
• Support the kitchen team during peak service hours
• Follow hygiene and food safety procedures (including HACCP standards)

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a pizzaiolo is required
• Strong knowledge of dough preparation and cooking techniques
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work under pressure
• Team player with good communication
• Eligible to work in Malta
• Skill pass certification is required for TNC

Working Hours:

Flexible shifts available (including evenings and weekends).
