Production & Design Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Production & Design Assistant. This role involves basic graphic design work, rubber stamp preparation and production, operating laser cutting machines, and managing various print and finishing equipment.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Create and prepare artwork using Adobe Creative Suite mostly Illustrator and InDesign. (Basic skill level required)
Design and prepare Rubber Stamps for production.
Operate laser cutting machines for stamp production.
Print jobs on our digital press, including setup, colour checks, and output control.
Use other finishing equipment such as Guillotines, Roll laminators, Creasing machines, and Binding machines.
Assist in general production tasks and maintain a clean, organised workspace.
Ensure accuracy, quality control, and timely delivery of all jobs.

Educational and skill requirements

Basic working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (training provided for our workflow).
Good mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machines.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow job specifications.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliability, responsibility, and a positive work attitude.
Previous experience in print is an asset, but not mandatory as training will be provided.
