Student Services Manager Summer 2027
Join a global company with international exposure as a Student Services Manager for Summer 2027! In this role, you'll take the lead in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for our international students, overseeing the daily operations of our Student Welcome Desk and ensuring students have the best possible experience during their stay in Malta. You'll manage a team of Student Services Coordinators, support student welfare, handle enquiries and make sure everything runs smoothly at school. What You'll Do:
- Manage and support a team of Student Services Coordinators, ensuring the smooth daily operation of the Student Welcome Desk.
- Welcome international students to the EF school, creating a friendly and positive first impression.
- Respond to student enquiries, provide assistance with day-to-day needs and address any student welfare concerns.
- Provide students with information and guidance regarding activities, excursions and other aspects of their experience in Malta.
- Oversee and coordinate activities taking place at school during breaks.
- Provide administrative support and maintain accurate student information using EF's internal system.
- Handle unexpected situations, resolve problems and respond to emergencies when necessary.
- Work closely with other departments and staff to ensure a seamless student experience.
Who You Are:
- Friendly, approachable and outgoing, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experienced in customer-facing roles, ideally with previous experience working with young people.
- A natural team player and leader, comfortable managing and supporting others.
- Proactive and solution-oriented. You're confident using your own initiative and handling unexpected situations.
- Highly adaptable and able to remain calm and positive in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about travel, languages and working with people from different cultural backgrounds.
- Fluent in English and legally eligible to work in Malta (Maltese/EU passport or valid work permit).
Details:
- Duration: Contracts starting in May and running until August. Start date can be discussed.
- Schedule: Full-time, 6-day work weeks.
- Safeguarding: All roles are subject to police conduct checks and character reference checks.
- Training: In-house training and support will be provided before and throughout the summer.
In line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive (Directive (EU) 2023/970) and Legal Notice 173 of 2026, the initial pay range for this role is €1500 to €1900 gross per month.
