Assistant Director of Studies
EC Malta may be one of the largest language schools on the island but thanks to the people that work here, we still work as a close-knit team. Be it over a coffee at the in-house Italian café (where they serve the best barista-style coffee), at one of our stand-up meetings, or behind our desks, we believe that speaking to each other remains the best way to bounce ideas off each other, deal with issues as they come up and keeping everyone in the loop.
Based at the Academic Office, as the ADoS you will work 40 hours, handling student enquiries, helping teachers, doing short-term and long-term planning with the rest of the academic team and assisting with the day-to-day running of the school. Seeing as we are a busy school, there really is never a dull moment at EC. There will be times when the academic team will not be able to find cover for a teacher, in which case you will be asked to teach a class. During the buzz of the busy times, the great support and team spirit will help you overcome any obstacles. In fairness, since you will have greater responsibilities than in similar positions at other ELT schools, being ADoS at EC is definitely great preparation for the next step in your career.
Work environment is important. As such, a beautiful school with modern equipment and superior facilities await you.
