Assistant Property Manager

We are looking for a highly organised person to assist the Property Manager with the day to day operations of various short let apartments.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Scheduling Check-ins and Check- outs of guests;
  • Communicating with guests and answering any queries potential guests and tenants may have;
  • Handling the daily schedules of the cleaning supervisor and cleaners so as to keep the apartments clean and in order;
  • Liaising with the team and scheduling their work so that they also meet the guests upon arrival and departure;
  • Assist in the management of the internal office adminstration related to the apartments
  • such as updating the apartment bookings, various account postings and keeping the revenue up to date.

 

Educational and skill requirements
  • The right candidate for this post must be highly organised;
    Be able to manage their own time efficiently;
  • Be flexible in terms of work hours;
  • Have a valid drivers license and their own transport;
  • Be able to work independently and in a team environment;
  • Be a problem solver;
  • Have the ability to multi task and prioritize various tasks effeectively and efficiently;
  • Have excellent communications skills in english:
    Have previous experience in property management, operations and or administration.
