The Villa Bologna Restaurant in Attard is an authentic Italian trattoria offering classic Italian cuisine with friendly service in the beautiful gardens of Villa Bologna and is one of Malta’s leading restaurants.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our restaurant. As the Assistant Restaurant Manager you will support the General Manager in the day to day operation of the restaurant.

Your role is to make sure that our customers have an exceptional and memorable experience every time they come.

Main Roles

• Support the General Manager and help oversee the Food & Beverage operations and helping lead the service team to ensure company standards are met
• Active support of employees in the service flow
• Train and support front of house staff
• Ensure maximal revenue and profit are achieved from all sales opportunities
  
  

Required Skills/Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a senior position at a restaurant with a proven track record of leading a professional, efficient, high quality, service-oriented operation in a fast paced and demanding environment
• Excellent interpersonal/relationship building skills
• Supervisory, coaching and staff development experience
• Energetic, flexible, collaborative, a proactive; a team leader who can positively and productively impact
