Role Overview
Heroix is supporting our Client in the manufacturing sector in the search for a Business Analyst to the CEO. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and commercially aware professional to work closely with senior leadership, providing analytical support, coordinating strategic activities, and helping to ensure business objectives are delivered efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Reporting: Compile, review, and present operational and commercial performance information, producing clear reports that support executive decision-making.
- Data Analysis and Insights: Analyse business data, identify key trends, highlight potential risks and opportunities, and provide meaningful recommendations to support strategic planning.
- Performance Dashboards: Develop and maintain executive dashboards, key performance indicators, and presentations by combining information from multiple departments.
- Executive Meeting Coordination: Organise leadership meetings by preparing agendas, coordinating presentation materials, recording meeting outcomes, and monitoring agreed actions.
- Strategic Follow-Up: Track business priorities and strategic initiatives, liaising with department leaders to ensure commitments are completed within agreed deadlines.
- Board and Executive Documentation: Prepare professional reports, summaries, business cases, and presentations for Board meetings, management reviews, customer visits, and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication between departments to support the smooth execution of projects and business initiatives.
- Confidential Administration: Handle sensitive business information with the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or another related discipline.
- Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years' experience in an executive support, business analysis, project management, or analytical business support role. Previous experience within a manufacturing environment will be considered an advantage.
- Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. Full professional proficiency in Maltese is essential.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports, presentations, and executive documentation for a variety of audiences.
- Interpersonal Skills: Confident in building effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and encourage accountability.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential. Experience using Power BI or similar business intelligence and data visualisation tools will be considered highly beneficial.
- Organisation: Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate activities across departments, and consistently meet demanding deadlines.
- Self-Motivated: A proactive, dependable individual who can work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and contribute positively within a fast-paced business environment.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret complex information, identify practical solutions, and support informed business decisions.
