Chef de Partie

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef De Partie at The Embassy Valletta Hotel. The Chef De Partie, a key player in our culinary team, will work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to manage and maintain the kitchen to company standards. The Chef De Partie will be preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes in the hotel's kitchens. The Chef De Partie will also ensure that the kitchen is clean, operational, and compliant with all regulations, contributing significantly to the overall success of our establishment.

Educational and skill requirements
  • Culinary Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in a high-pressure, fast-paced culinary environment
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other departments
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
  • Experience in menu planning and costing
  • Experience in Italian and Mediterranean cuisine is a plus
  • Fluent English is essential; knowledge of other languages is a plus
  • A valid work permit is a must.
