Role Overview
Heroix is supporting our Client in the search for a motivated and commercially aware Commercial Executive to support the Commercial function in the coordination of day-to-day business activities and reporting processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to gain exposure within the healthcare sector while contributing to commercial operations, reporting, and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Support: Assist the Commercial team in coordinating ongoing projects, ensuring tasks and priorities are followed through efficiently across departments.
- Reporting & Administration: Support the preparation and maintenance of commercial reports, dashboards, and performance summaries to help monitor business activity.
- Data Analysis: Review sales figures and commercial data to help identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring attention.
- Agreement Coordination: Assist with the monitoring of commercial agreements and help maintain accurate records relating to supplier and business arrangements.
- Presentation Preparation: Support the creation of presentations, briefing documents, and internal commercial updates for management meetings.
- Market Research: Carry out research on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to support the Commercial team.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Liaise with internal departments to ensure commercial processes are followed consistently and information is communicated effectively.
- Meeting Follow-Up: Coordinate action points arising from meetings and supplier discussions, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate tracking of tasks.
Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
- Education: A Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field would be considered an asset.
- Experience: Previous experience within a commercial, administrative, sales support, or business coordination role would be preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Exposure to the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical sector would be beneficial, though not essential.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
- Interpersonal Skills: A collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively with colleagues across different departments.
- Technical Skills: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Organisation: Strong organisational and time management abilities with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Self-Motivated: A proactive and enthusiastic individual with a willingness to learn and develop within a commercial environment.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyse information, identify issues, and contribute practical solutions where required.
