Role Overview
Heroix is supporting our Client in the search for a commercially focused and analytical Senior Commercial Executive to support the Chief Commercial Officer in driving strategic commercial initiatives across the business. This role will play an important part in monitoring business performance, supporting commercial planning, and ensuring effective coordination between departments to help strengthen the company’s market position within the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Coordination: Support the execution of key commercial projects and initiatives by ensuring priorities are followed through effectively across multiple departments and stakeholders.
- Performance Reporting: Develop and maintain reporting structures, dashboards, and performance tracking tools to provide accurate visibility on commercial activity and business results.
- Business Analysis: Review sales performance, revenue movements, and commercial metrics to identify areas for improvement, business risks, and potential opportunities for expansion.
- Contract & Agreement Oversight: Assist in reviewing commercial agreements, ensuring contractual obligations and entitlements are monitored while supporting the assessment of proposed commercial terms.
- Strategic Support: Collaborate closely with the Chief Commercial Officer in the preparation of strategic plans, presentations, commercial updates, and management reports.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct research on competitor activity, industry developments, and market trends to support informed commercial decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside various internal teams to encourage consistency in commercial processes and strengthen commercial awareness across the organisation.
- Meeting & Supplier Follow-Up: Coordinate action points arising from internal meetings and supplier business reviews, ensuring progress is tracked and communication remains aligned across departments.
Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
- Education: A Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or another related discipline is required.
- Experience: A minimum of five years’ experience in a commercial, strategic, business analysis, or related corporate role is preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical sector, including awareness of local healthcare practices and commercial regulations, would be considered an asset.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present commercial information clearly and professionally.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build effective working relationships across different business functions and engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Organisation: Excellent planning and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Self-Motivated: A proactive and driven individual who takes initiative, works independently, and follows through on responsibilities effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex information and translate findings into practical business recommendations.
