Role Overview
Our Client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Data Inputting Clerk to support its growing administrative operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for entering, updating, and verifying data across company systems, ensuring information accuracy and smooth coordination between departments. This role requires strong organisational abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining precise records in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry and Maintenance: Enter and update information accurately within company systems and databases.
  • Data Verification: Review and validate data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Record Management: Maintain well-organised and up-to-date digital and administrative records.
  • Internal Liaison: Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments to facilitate efficient information flow.
  • Administrative Support: Assist in general administrative duties and ensure deadlines are met consistently.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

  • Education: A minimum of A-level standard of education or equivalent, preferably with a focus on administration or business.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an administrative or data-entry role is preferred. Experience within the shipping or freight forwarding industry will be considered an asset.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of English, both spoken and written. The ability to communicate in Italian would be an advantage.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to convey information clearly and professionally to colleagues and clients.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Cooperative and supportive team player who contributes to a positive working environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable working with databases and digital systems.
  • Organisation: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Self-Motivated: Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
