Diamond Setter
Diamonds International, part of BLUEROCK Group, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Diamond Setter to join our esteemed jewellery manufacturing team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented individual with a passion for fine craftsmanship and a commitment to producing pieces of the highest quality.
Role Overview
As a Diamond Setter, you will play a vital role in the creation of exquisite jewellery. You will be responsible for securely and precisely setting diamonds and other gemstones into a variety of designs, ensuring each piece meets our exacting standards for beauty and durability.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Expertly set diamonds and other precious stones using techniques such as prong, bezel, pavé, and channel settings.
- Collaborate closely with jewellers, designers, and quality control teams to achieve flawless results.
- Inspect and prepare gemstones and settings, making adjustments to ensure a perfect fit.
- Maintain high standards of quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
- Undertake repairs and resetting when necessary, ensuring the integrity of each piece.
- Manage tools and equipment with care, maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

- Mastery in Jewellery Craftsmanship: Demonstrable expertise in diamond and gemstone setting techniques, with an eye for intricate detail and precision.

Qualifications and Experience

- Proven experience as a Diamond Setter within the jewellery industry.
- Relevant certification or training in jewellery design, gem-setting, or a related field is highly desirable.
