Clouds Express is excited to announce an opening for a Part-Time Shop Assistant to join our team, serving across our Birkirkara, and Bugibba locations. We’re seeking motivated and customer-focused individuals who are passionate about delivering excellent service and contributing to a friendly, dynamic team environment.

Role Responsibilities

As a Shop Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing an exceptional customer experience. Your duties will include:

• Assisting customers with product inquiries and sales
• Answering and handling phone calls in a courteous manner
• Maintaining the shop’s appearance and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
• Keeping our social media pages up-to-date with our latest products and offers
• Handling Wolt and Bolt Food Platform orders
• Operating Point of Sale (POS) and EPOS systems
• Engaging in stock-taking and inventory management

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

1. Valid, Clean Maltese Police Conduct: Required for employment.
2. Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential; knowledge of Maltese is a plus.
3. Retail Experience: A minimum of six months in a retail environment, preferably in electronics or vaping.
4. Technical Skills: Proficient with POS and EPOS systems, social media engagement, and phone support.
5. Customer-Centric Attitude: Friendly, approachable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
6. Professionalism and Reliability: Punctual, well-groomed, with a proactive “can-do” attitude.
7. Availability: Flexible to work both morning and evening shifts, weekdays, weekends, and public holidays across all store locations.
