F&B Supervisor

Main tasks and responsibilities

Leadership & Team Coordination

  • Supervise and mentor restaurant staff, including servers, hosts and support personnel.

  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment by leading by example.

  • Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.

  • Work with the front office to enhance guest experiences.

Guest Experience & Customer Service

  • Ensure outstanding service that exceeds guest expectations.

  • Address customer feedback professionally and promptly.

  • Maintain a welcoming and elegant dining atmosphere.

Operations & Efficiency

  • Oversee daily restaurant and bar operations, including opening and closing procedures.

  • Ensure efficient table turnover, service timing and overall workflow.

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels and coordinate supply orders.

Training & Staff Development

  • Identify training needs and provide ongoing learning opportunities for the team.

  • Implement programs to enhance service skills and product knowledge.

  • Address performance concerns and provide constructive feedback.

Educational and skill requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role within a luxury hospitality environment, ideally in Europe. Bar management experience is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organizational abilities.
  • Fluency in English (B2 level or higher) is essential; proficiency in an additional EU language is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  • Must be an EU national currently residing in Malta.
