Finishing Trades Project Coordinator

The finishing trades coordinator will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring that our goals towards excellence are being achieved.
Job Description:
To direct, coordinate, implement, execute, control and complete projects on time and within budget while remaining aligned with Company strategy in delivering excellence, good quality workmanship and sterling Client relationship.
Objectives of this Role:
- Liaise with managers and clients to define project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with organizational goals
- Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring that projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget
- Analyse project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope or timeline to achieve optimal results
- Assign roles and tasks to team members based on their individual strengths and abilities
- Help build the skill sets of team members and share learnings with other employees
- Achieve organizational goals while adhering to standards and best practices.
- Plan and implement projects within project scope, budgets and applicable regulations in an efficient and safe manner
- Ensure that all aspects of a project are organized and in conformance with timeline and deliverables requirement
- Ensure all required documentation including manuals and as fitted / as built drawings are available
- Define tasks and required resources
- Allocate project resources
- Develop and maintain project performance database that tracks overall progress and achievement of milestones
- Assign and monitor resources effectively to boost project efficiency and maximize deliverables output
- Support and direct team
- Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, and escalate issues according to project work plan
- Attending to commissioning runs or certification activities
- Serve as point of communication between company teams, consultant and other stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of projects
- Deepen partnerships with outside resources, including third-party suppliers and subcontractors.
- A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in project coordination and / or a similar role
- Preference shall be given to those candidates with a project management qualification and project management experience in the turnkey construction projects
- Experience in coordinating teams and clients
- Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management
- Very good analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- An ability to work unsupervised and work in multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience in the use of AutoCAD, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office
- Able to work flexible hours
- A valid driving license
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental best practice
