

Fruit, Veg & Deli Coordinator
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Fruit, Veg & Deli Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our fresh produce and deli departments. This role ensures that all products are presented to the highest standards, maintains optimal stock levels, and provides exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about fresh food, organized, and capable of leading a small team to deliver quality and consistency.
Responsibilities:

Department Coordination: Oversee the layout, presentation, and rotation of fruit, vegetable, and deli products to ensure freshness and visual appeal.

Stock Management: Monitor stock levels, place orders, receive deliveries, and minimize waste through accurate stock rotation (FIFO).

Customer Service: Provide knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient service to customers; respond to inquiries about products, allergens, and specials.

Team Support: Coordinate and support team members within the department, helping with task delegation and training where needed.

Quality Control: Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are upheld in line with company and legal requirements.

Sales & Promotion: Work with management to implement promotional activities, signage, and displays that drive sales and increase customer engagement.

Reporting: Maintain records of wastage, stock levels, and sales trends to support purchasing decisions.
- Must speak Maltese and English, be computer literate, and hold a valid driving licence.
