Full-Time Guest Service Agents
Hilton Malta is looking for team members who share the passion for excellence and to infuse enthusiasm into everything they do.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Answer all incoming phone calls through the hotel switchboard and promptly deal with guest inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, including special requests, complaints, wake-up calls, messages and hotel service inquiries
- Handle guest reservations for Food and Drink Outlets, Spa, Health Club and other facilities, delegating reservations to the relevant departments accordingly
- Perform additional duties assigned by the Front Office Leadership team, including assisting the Front Desk and Executive Lounge, maintaining an updated telephone extension list and reporting maintenance issues with follow-ups
- Comply with Hilton Brand Standards and Hotel Policies and Procedures while monitoring and responding to hotel emergency and safety situations efficiently and professionally
Educational and skill requirements
- Previous work experience in a similar role with knowledge of operating a switchboard
- Fluency in both Maltese and English is required, with knowledge of a third language considered an asset
- Positive attitude with excellent communication and organisational skills and a commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Flexible to work on a shift basis including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Able to work independently and as part of a team with a competent level of IT proficiency
