HR Generalist - Cyprus

On behalf of our client, a software solutions company, we are looking for an HR Generalist to be based at their offices in Larnaca, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinates the recruitment and onboarding process, including work permits where required
• Coordinates work permit renewal processes
• Coordinates payroll
• Assists with the administration of staff benefits
• Liaises with local authorities and service providers
• Ensures compliance with local employment laws
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices to advise on policy development & necessary changes
• Administers & enforces company policies and procedures
• Acts as first point of contact for employees regarding HR & general office related inquiries
• Escalates any conflicts, employee concerns and grievances
• Promotes a positive workplace environment
• Supports senior managers with performance management and employee development
• Maintains up to date employee records in BambooHR
• Keeps inventory of office supplies and ordering new materials as needed;
• Assists senior management as and when required;
• Reserves meeting room for meetings;
• Organizes events when necessary;
• Ensures office is clean and well maintained at all times

Job Requirements:

• Ideally minimum 1 year experience in a similar or administrative role
• Knowledge of labour laws, employee relations & HR best practices
• Knowledge of BambooHR will be considered an asset
• Excellent written & verbal skills in English
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Be a self-motivated and highly organised individual
• Possess a strong eye for detail and a can-do attitude
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
• Be conversant in the use of Microsoft Office applications
• Experience working with remote colleagues and managers will be considered an asset
