Hybrid Front Office Assistant (Gozo/Malta)
We are seeking to recruit a Front Office Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis.
This position entails a sort of hybrid model as the prospective candidate must be willing and readily available to work both from our Gozo branch as well as in Malta depending on the needs of the company.
The prospective candidate must be ready, willing and available to work both from our Gozo branch situated in Victoria as well as from our branch network in Malta. This hybrid arrangement will depend on the exigencies and requirements of the company. Given that regular commuting will inevitably come with this role, preference will be given to candidates having their own means of transport.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Provide direct support and information to customers both over the counter as well as by phone;
- Open/close branches as required and ensure all tasks and checks are completed;
- Ensuring transactions are completed in a timely and efficient manner with a high standard level of accuracy;
- Maintaining a cash float including balancing and reconciling procedures as well as preparation of daily ‘End of Day’ sheet at the close of each business day;
- Perform administrative tasks including filing, generating reports and maintaining mail correspondence;
- Adherence at all times to compliance procedures and company policies and abiding to all health and safety guidelines as per company standards;
Educational and skill requirements
- A highly motivated self-driven person with a passion to perform;
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a pleasant outgoing personality;
- Positive attitude having the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team;
- Smart appearance, reliable and punctual;
- Ability to work accurately and on own initiative with attention to detail;
- Previous experience in a cash-handling environment would be considered an asset;
- Preference would be given to candidates having own transportation;
- A good command of written and spoken Maltese & English is a must.
