The Analytics Department is looking for an intern to join the team. The internship is for a period of 6month, starting full-time, with the possibility of permanent employment after the end of the internship period.
This is an excellent opportunity for final year university students or recent graduates to join Betsson Group and to learn more about delivering insights to drive commercial decisions. Analytics Intern will be helping guide and support decision making across specific markets, brands, and teams.
Intern will need to be passionate about data to create knowledge and to drive change and action through science rather than hunch.
- Monitor key performance metrics – forecast and flag underperforming metrics to the appropriate stakeholders
- Conduct regular and ad hoc analysis and reports for the markets
- Work with, manipulate, and analyse raw data from a variety of sources
- Create easy-to-understand presentations and data visualisations
- Use several different tools like Qliksense, PowerBI and Google Analytics
- Develop data-driven insights and recommendations in line with the business strategic goals
- Collaborate with different teams within the Analytics Department – Business Analytics, CRM & VIP Analytics and Web & Product Analytics.
- Collaborate with several stakeholders from different teams such as Commercial, Marketing, CRM, and Product.
- Drive up the standard of analysis within Betsson through joining data from disparate areas and storytelling
- Role modelling the Betsson values through example and behaviour
- Great at problem solving and critical thinking – highly analytical and knows how to approach and solve business questions providing actionable insight to stakeholders
- Able to grasp the business context and learn quickly
- A storyteller that influences decision making. Presents data in a meaningful way – understands the audience and delivers insight in a way that fits their consumption style
- Has an affinity for data and is always looking for ways to improve things
- A Positive Mental Attitude is key!
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to work with, manipulate and clean data
- Ability to analyse big datasets and present findings through storytelling and data visualisations
- SQL knowledge of benefit but not a must
- Google Analytics knowledge of benefit but not a must
- Power BI, Qlikview and Qliksense knowledge of benefit but not a must
