Web Marketer at Decathlon Malta

Decathlon Malta is seeking a talented and experienced Web Marketer to join our expanding E-commerce team. As we prepare to open more touchpoints and enhance our online presence, we are looking for a strategic individual who can lead our digital marketing efforts and drive our growth in the Maltese E-commerce market.

Contract Type: 10-hour base contract, with potential for extension and partial smart working

Start Date: June 1st, 2024

Main tasks and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve and animate the digital experience for customers, ensuring the right products are promoted at the right time on the website.

  • Analyze user experience and optimize landing pages to enhance customer satisfaction and drive conversions.

  • Ensure that the online product range reflects the physical range in terms of availability and pricing.

  • Define optimization strategies for the website's UX, ergonomics, and customer journey.

  • Conduct keyword research and implement organic SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings.

  • Perform A/B testing of the website to identify and implement improvements.

  • Monitor website traffic and conversions, create reports, and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Provide support to the Digital and Brand team by offering insights and recommendations for effective cross-channel media strategies.

  • Implementation and design of sport-specific on-site campaigns

Educational and skill requirements

Requirements:

  • Marketing or related degree or diploma.

  • Vast experience in leading campaign operations across multiple channels, preferably in E-commerce.

  • Deep expertise in digital strategy, omnichannel marketing, and agile processes.

  • 2 years of experience with tools such as Google Search Console and Google Keyword Planner.

  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, SEMrush, and other relevant digital marketing tools.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and customers.

  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, UX, CRO, Mobile Business, and Digital Analytics.

  • Hands-on experience in ROAS optimization, digital media planning, and conversion funnel optimization.
