IT Support Specialist

·         Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, diagnose problems, and implement solutions.

·         Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications.

·         Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, backups, and antivirus scans.

·         Set up and configure network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.

·         Monitor system performance and security, identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities.

·         Assist with the setup and configuration of new hardware and software.

·         Train users on how to use IT systems effectively and efficiently.

·         Assist in managing the day-to-day IT operations;

·         Assist in carrying out maintenance and up-keep of the Group’s IT infrastructure and systems;

·         Troubleshoot IT-based problems and resolve such issues directly or with the support of our external suppliers;

·         Provide IT technical support across the Group, both in person or over the phone.

The ideal candidate should be pro-active and should be a good problem solver. They should also:

·         Have obtained an Advanced Diploma in Systems and Networks or diploma level qualifications in IT.  

·         Have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in an IT environment;

·         Be a team player and enjoy working in a dynamic environment;

·         Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, and;

·     Be in possession of a valid Maltese Driving License and have own transport
