Payments Officer - Cyprus

On behalf of our client, a leading investment firm and payment institution, we are looking for a Payments Officer to be based at their offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for executing of Payments through SWIFT, SEPA and other routes
• Responsible for the reconciliations, processing, and monitoring of transactions
• Coordinates with the various departments within the Company
• Communicates with Credit and Financial Institutions for the monitoring of transfers and balances
• Performs any related work as assigned

Job Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred
• Computer Literate, with very good knowledge of Excel
• Previous relevant experience (2-3 years) in a Banking/ Payment Institution/ EMI would be considered as an advantage
• Willing to learn and eager to work under pressure
• Fluency in both Greek and English
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Good problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Team player
