We are looking for a Project, Planner and Scheduler to join db Group.
Job Summary:
As a Project Planner and Scheduler at db Group, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to create and maintain project schedules, allocate resources, and ensure that construction projects are executed efficiently and on time.
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project schedules that encompass all phases of construction, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate manpower, equipment, and materials to various projects to ensure efficient utilization of resources and adherence to project timelines.
- Critical Path Analysis: Identify critical paths within project schedules and proactively manage potential delays by proposing solutions and adjustments.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to align their schedules with project timelines and monitor their progress.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks to project schedules and develop contingency plans to mitigate delays.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly track and report project progress against the established schedule, highlighting any deviations and proposing corrective actions.
- Change Management: Assess the impact of change orders on project schedules and work with stakeholders to minimize disruptions.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure everyone is informed of schedule changes and project status.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in construction project planning and scheduling.
- Proficiency in construction scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of construction industry standards and best practices.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in construction.
