Role Overview
The Senior Relationship Officer will form part of the Retail Banking Unit and will be responsible for providing front-line support to clients across various banking services. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about customer service, keen to develop within the banking industry, and motivated to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service Delivery: Ensure an exceptional level of service to customers by addressing queries, handling transactions, and maintaining professional standards.
• Administrative Support: Perform day-to-day administrative duties within the branch, supporting back-office and operational functions as required.
• Business Development Support: Contribute to the Bank’s targets related to profitability and growth through active engagement and customer care.
• Compliance and Accuracy: Follow internal policies and regulatory guidelines, maintaining meticulous attention to detail in all documentation and procedures.
• Team Contribution: Collaborate with colleagues to support branch operations and maintain a positive and efficient work environment.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

• Education: An MQF Level 3 academic qualification is required. Advanced/Intermediate Matriculation certificates or equivalent will be considered an asset.
• Experience: No previous experience is required, although candidates with prior banking experience will be given preference.
• Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Interpersonal Skills: A reliable and trustworthy team player who can interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.
• Organisation: Ability to stay organised, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-Motivated: Driven to achieve personal and team objectives with a target-oriented mindset.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrates sound judgment and a methodical approach to resolving client and operational issues.
