Room Attendant

We are currently seeking a Room Attendant to join our team in a hotel. The role involves cleaning and maintaining guest rooms to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and comfort for all visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Fill cart with supplies and transport cart to assigned area.
• Enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering.
• Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms.
• Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items.
• Make beds and fold terry.
• Clean bathrooms
• Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items.
• Check that all appliances are present in the room and in working order.
• Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances.
• Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
• Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties (e.g., guest rooms and corridors).
• Report any maintenance faults directly to Maintenance or line management, to ensure hotel standards are maintained.
  
  

Requirements

• Applicants must be currently residing in Malta with valid documents.
• Full Time Job
• Must be willing to work on a rotational shift basis including weekends and public holidays.
• Must be willing to take Skills pass certificate upon selection
• Previous experience in a similar role or a hospitality environment is an asset
• Friendly,approachable, and guest-focused, with a proactive attitude
