Sales Person

We are looking for a friendly, customer-focused Sales Person to join our Gourmet Boutique. The ideal candidate will assist customers in selecting gourmet products, provide excellent service, maintain an attractive store display, and support daily sales activities.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Greet customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable gourmet products.
Assist with product sales, process payments, and handle customer enquiries professionally.
Maintain product displays, ensure shelves are well-stocked, and keep the boutique clean and organised.
Monitor stock levels, check product quality and expiry dates, and assist with deliveries and inventory management.

Educational and skill requirements

Secondary education or equivalent; experience in retail sales, customer service, or food and beverage is an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, a customer-focused attitude, basic numeracy and cash-handling skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of gourmet products, food handling, and POS systems is an advantage.
