Role Overview
The Senior Maintenance Technician will be responsible for running and troubleshooting the utility systems that support daily manufacturing activities. The role involves monitoring equipment performance, identifying and resolving faults, and ensuring all systems operate reliably and safely. This is a full-time position and serves as a key technical point within the maintenance team.
- Utility System Operation: Help run and maintain key utility systems such as water treatment units, chillers, air compressors, and related equipment.
- Equipment Inspection: Carry out regular checks and tests on mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
- Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance: Perform planned preventive maintenance and handle breakdown repairs when issues arise.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all standard procedures, safety rules, and quality requirements.
- PPE Usage: Use the correct protective gear for each task.
- Technical Communication: Keep clear communication with supervisors and team members about any mechanical or electrical issues.
- Shift Handover: Provide a proper handover at the end of each shift, sharing all important updates and outstanding work.
- Education: Holds a Technical Diploma and preferably an Electrical Licence.
- Experience: Ideally has hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Language Skills: Working fluency in English.
- Communication Skills: Communicates clearly and collaborates effectively across different departments.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to foster collaboration, motivate teams, and inspire high performance.
- Technical Skills: Possesses strong technical insight across mechanical, electrical, or automation-related systems.
