Role Overview

Our Client is seeking a driven and qualified Lawyer to join the Aviation Department. This role is ideal for a candidate who is fully warranted with at least 2 years of professional experience and is keen to further their career in aviation law. The successful candidate will provide expert legal services, ensuring high standards of client satisfaction and effective management of aviation-related cases.

Key Responsibilities

Client Consultation: Provide legal advice and support on aviation-related matters, including transactions, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Case Management: Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring effective handling of complex legal issues within aviation law.
Contract Drafting: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to aircraft financing, leasing, and acquisition, ensuring all agreements comply with relevant laws.
Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research on aviation laws and regulations to support case preparation and ensure compliance.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide comprehensive legal solutions and share industry insights on aviation-related matters.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a warranted lawyer, with a background in aviation law or a related field.
Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey legal information to clients and stakeholders.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients, team members, and other legal practitioners.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in legal research tools and software, along with a strong understanding of aviation law.
Organisation: Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.
Self-Motivated: Demonstrates initiative, with a proactive approach to managing client cases and legal research.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve legal issues efficiently.
