Stock Controller

We are a growing and fast-paced food retail group seeking a capable and driven Stock Control professional to support and strengthen our people function. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, operationally involved, and part of a business that is continuously evolving.

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the accounts function across the group, while also contributing to the development and organisation of the department as we continue to grow.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Checking stock levels regularly
Compiling weekly reports and addressing inventory discrepancies
Performing random checks and audits
Assist with regular Stock takes.
Other ad hoc tasks as required

Educational and skill requirements

💡 What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

General good standard of education up to Secondary Level.
Solid knowledge and experience in the Food Industry business.
Strong command of Microsoft Office tools especially in Word and Excel.
Experience with a ‘help desk’ environment, and having direct contact with clients will be considered an asset.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to maintain a healthy rapport with internal customers and to work under constant pressure.
Applying a positive attitude of can do, right the first time, speed and passion
Able to work on own initiative and meet deadlines;
An ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Self-motivated, well organized, good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to thrive in a competitive and pressurized environment.
