Main tasks and responsibilities

Perform daily bank & cash reconciliations
Assist in the month end processes.
Issue of invoices, debtor chasing & reconciliations
Posting of invoices, creditors’ payment and reconciliations.
Assisting in audit related tasks
Other ad hoc tasks as required

Educational and skill requirements

A level standard/ Advanced Diploma of education in Accounts.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or clerical role, preferably with a focus on high-volume transactions and bank-related tasks
Previous experience in a retail or supermarket setting is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Demonstrate a can-do attitude, is highly organised, meticulous, and attentive to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Possess a high work ethic.
Fluency in Maltese & English.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in a retail or supermarket setting is a plus.
