Accounts Associate
We are seeking to recruit a highly enthusiastic and talented individual, who thrives working within a dynamic team, to join our Finance Department in the role of Accounts Associate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processing of supplier and customer invoices
- Process payments to creditors following authorization and posting.
- Prepare regular reconciliations – suppliers, debtors, intercompany and bank.
- Supporting the team in month end closing process
- Credit control – chasing customers for payments
- Preparation of cash flow and sales forecasts
- Ad hoc reports as required from time to time
- Keep proper documentation and filing of all accounting documents.
- Any other duties that could arise from time to time
Qualifications and Requirements:
- AAT/MQF level 5 in Accounting or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in accounts.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft applications.
This role requires a person with the ability to work independently, be able to prioritize under pressure and work effectively in a team. S/he must have good written and verbal communication skills and superb numeric knowledge. Teamwork, a positive mind-set and the ability to multitask under pressure are important attributes we are looking for.
