Accounts Clerk (Full time)

Responsible for various accounts related duties, including the maintenance of financial records, credit control and reporting.

Duties:

  • Prepare periodical reports as requested to assist in financial analysis.
  • Check received payments, coordinate deposit activities, input in systems, and allocate funds.
  • Issuing of sales invoices.
  • Monitoring and follow up of internal accounts, non-payment, delayed payment, and aged debtors.
  • Deal with customers’ invoice related queries.
  • Update receivables and payables ledgers.

Requirements

  • Advanced level of education or higher in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Have a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially MS Excel;
  • Knowledge of Shireburn software will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills in Maltese and English.
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to prioritise and deliver.
  • Strong team player, but also able to work independently.
  • Be organized, methodical and have an eye for detail
