Accounts Executive

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for performing the day-to-day duties related to the accounts department and assisting the accountant in the closure of the monthly management accounts.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Perform the day-to-day duties to the accounts department. Be responsible for the accruals and prepayments workings.
Update the fixed asset register and pass monthly depreciation accordingly.
Reconcile monthly the credit card statements.
Account for the travel requests of various companies. Reconcile the monthly suspense accounts.
Be responsible for the commission workings related to car sales. Process requests for payment.
Perform banking, cashiering transactions and reconciliations.
Assist colleagues and superiors as required to ensure that end of month deadlines are met. Perform any other duties which may be assigned by his/her direct superior from time to time.

Time management Eye for detail Teamwork
A-level education and/or AAT qualification in Accounts ECDL Qualification or Equivalent
ECDL Qualification or Equivalent
Preference will be given to candidates currently in the process to get ACCA qualification or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar position will be considered as an asset.
