Car Park Supervisor
Malta International Airport plc is looking for dynamic individuals who are passionate about working with people within an Airport environment, are willing to continuously learn, develop, and be part of a high performance culture. This vacancy has arisen within the Airport Parking Department on a full-time basis.
Purpose of Position:
To supervise and coordinate the day to day running of the parking facility operations, including the collection, and depositing of parking revenues.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Day to day running of operations and team supervision.
- Follow up on repair requests relating to major damages which are still pending, with system technician or internal departments.
- Report any issues to the system software supplier (HUB parking technology) and follow up any pending developments or system issue updates.
- Follow up email requests and/or delegate work accordingly as required within a timely manner.
- Manage requests for card accesses, together with general upkeep of database.
- Cash collections, priming & reconciliations.
- Filing of documents in a timely and effective manner.
- Stock control and stock orders.
- Issue any ad-hoc or monthly reports requested by manager or head of department.
- Manage shift rosters, leave and timesheets.
Educational and skill requirements
- Have experience in leading a team.
- Be energetic and capable of working on own initiative.
- Be highly responsible and capable of cultivating productive working relationships within the team and third parties.
- Have basic technical knowledge will be considered an asset.
- Have excellent organisation skills and positive attitude.
- Have good computer skills and comfortable using Office applications.
- Be able to communicate well, both verbally as well as in writing.
