Indoor Landscaper

Within the company, the main role of the Indoor Landscaper is responsible for carrying out the installation and maintenance of indoor plants and greenery to ensure high standards of health, appearance, and presentation across client sites. This role involves watering, pruning, repotting, pest management, and general upkeep of plants, while delivering excellent customer service and adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards.

This must be achieved whilst consistently and continuously ensuring compliance and adherence to company procedures.

Detailed description of MAIN tasks and KEY responsibilities:

• Install and maintain indoor plants and greenery at client sites.
• Water, prune, repot, fertilize, and carry out pest and disease control for indoor plants.
• Monitor plant health and take corrective action to maintain high-quality displays.
• Replace damaged or unhealthy plants in line with company standards.
• Clean and maintain planters, containers, and surrounding display areas.

Preferred Education & Work Experience:

• Secondary school or vocational certificate in horticulture, landscaping, or related field preferred.
• 1 year of experience in indoor plant care, horticulture, or landscaping.
• Knowledge of indoor plant varieties, care techniques, and common plant pests/diseases.
• Experience with watering systems, fertilizers, and plant maintenance tools.

Skills:

• Strong practical knowledge of indoor plant care.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work in different indoor environments.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Understand irrigation systems, with the ability to install, operate, and carry out regular maintenance as needed.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of safe work practices and equipment handling.
• Reliability and good time management.

Important to have:

• The candidate must be able to speak English
• Previous landscaping experience preferred but not necessary since training will be provided.
• Candidate needs to hold a valid driving licence – Category B and be able to drive both manual and automatic cars will be preferred.
• Only candidates from EU Countries or TCN’s already residing in Malta with a valid working permit shall apply.
