Koperattiva Produtturi tal-Ħalib Group Ltd. (KPH), which is the Dairy Farmers’ Cooperative, was established in June 1958 in order to bring together all the dairy producers in Malta and Gozo to further promote their interests and increase their competitive advantage. Over the years KPH has been a leader in several agricultural activities, which include grain and feed importation, feed manufacturing, farm supplies, and support services, milk processing, and the production and distribution of the well-known Benna fresh milk products. Considerable investments throughout the years enabled the Cooperative to evolve. Members started expanding their activities penetrating and sustaining vital sectors within the local dairy and agricultural industry.

Cold Store General Operator

We are looking for dedicated and reliable team members to join us for the night shift, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service during overnight hours.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Ensure proper receiving of finished products received from production.
Report any damages.
Prepare and re-check client’s orders.
Operate according to established company procedures.
Assist in the organization of products within the cold store.
Safely load products to delivery vehicles, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Physical demands include lifting items, standing for long periods, and working in cold environments.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move
Work closely with other team members in production, logistics, and quality assurance to ensure seamless operations.
Any other duties which may be required.

Educational and skill requirements

MQF level 3 and 2years previous experience in a cold storage or warehouse environment, particularly within the food or dairy industry.
Food Handling Certificate.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Familiar with FIFO rule (First in, first out)
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Basic computer skills.
Good communication skills.
Good communication and understanding of the English language.
Candidates must have their own transport to commute to the factory due to shift timings.
