Lifestyle Group is bringing the colours, aromas and soul of India near the upcoming Hard Rock Hotel Malta (opening 2026) with the launch of Tanvi and is now looking for an Head Chef.

🌸 The Concept

In Sanskrit, Tanvi means “delicate and graceful” and is also an epithet of the goddess Parvati a symbol of beauty, warmth and vitality.
This new restaurant concept will celebrate India’s rich traditions through fragrant curries, sizzling tandoori grills, vibrant décor and an atmosphere filled with soul.

🛕 Your Mission

As Head Chef, you’ll take the lead in bringing Tanvi’s kitchen to life — from pre-opening setup to daily operations. You’ll design and refine menus that showcase authentic Indian flavours with consistency and creativity, manage food quality and presentation, oversee stock and suppliers and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards. You’ll recruit, train and inspire the kitchen team, setting the tone for excellence and efficiency while collaborating with management to create a standout restaurant experience.

You’re an experienced culinary leader with a strong background in Indian or international kitchens. You thrive under pressure, know how to run a busy pass and have a sharp eye for detail. You’re passionate about flavour, presentation and innovation while remaining rooted in tradition. Leadership, organisation and people management come naturally to you and you’re fluent in English (extra languages are a plus).
