We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Hotels Marketing Manager to develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives that will drive brand awareness, increase bookings, and enhance the overall guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, and a proven track record in digital and traditional marketing channels.
The Job
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote the hotel, enhance brand visibility, and maximize occupancy rates.
- Manage and oversee digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and online advertising, ensuring a consistent brand presence across all platforms.
- Collaborate with the sales and revenue management teams to develop promotional offers and packages to attract new guests and retain loyal ones.
- Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, competitor activity, and industry trends, using insights to adjust marketing strategies.
- Oversee content creation for the hotel website, blogs, social media, and other marketing materials.
- Manage public relations and media relations efforts, including press releases, media outreach, and partnerships with influencers and industry publications.
- Analyze marketing performance metrics and reports, providing recommendations for improvement based on data.
- Organize and manage events, promotions, and special campaigns to increase engagement and attract new customers.
- Build and maintain relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, and local businesses to create partnership opportunities.
- Ensure all marketing efforts are in line with the hotel’s brand identity and positioning in the market.
- Work with external agencies and vendors as needed to support marketing initiatives.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in marketing within the hospitality industry, with a strong emphasis on digital marketing.
- Proven experience with social media marketing, SEO, SEM, content creation, and paid media campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality market trends, guest preferences, and competition.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Creative thinking with a results-driven approach.
- Proficiency in marketing software tools (Google Analytics, social media platforms, CRM systems, etc.).
- Fluent in English and Maltese.
