In collaboration with Heroix, the Company is reinforcing its human resources function to sustain operational continuity and support ongoing organisational demands.

Role Overview
The HR Assistant role sits at the operational core of the human resources function, providing essential administrative and coordination support. This position demands strong attention to detail. The successful candidate will contribute directly to the stability of internal HR processes and employee lifecycle administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Administration Support: Manage day-to-day administrative duties within the HR function, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Employee Records Management: Create, update, and maintain employee profiles, personnel files, and digital records, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal standards.
  • Database and Documentation Control: Maintain internal HR databases and filing systems, ensuring information remains current, accessible, and properly organised.
  • Recruitment and Performance Coordination: Schedule interviews and appraisal meetings, coordinating calendars and documentation to avoid delays and operational bottlenecks.
  • Internal Coordination and Support: Assist with HR-related events, manage promotional materials, support corporate card administration, and provide ad hoc assistance to address outstanding HR tasks as required.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

  • Education: A relevant qualification in human resources, business administration, or a related field would be considered an asset.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an HR or administrative support role is required, ideally within a professional or corporate services environment.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of both Maltese and English is required to succeed in this role.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal contexts, particularly when handling sensitive information.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Capable of working with employees at all levels, maintaining professionalism even when managing routine or high-volume requests.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook, with the discipline to use systems consistently and correctly.
  • Organisation: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks without losing accuracy or focus.
  • Self-Motivated: Demonstrates reliability and initiative, particularly when working independently on repetitive but essential tasks.
  • Problem-Solving: Able to identify administrative gaps or inconsistencies.
