Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Interior Designer to join the team. The role involves designing functional and visually appealing interior spaces across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. The successful candidate will manage the design process from concept through to installation, collaborating closely with clients, consultants, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Development: Create interior design concepts aligned with client requirements, project scope, and budget.
• Visualisation and Planning: Prepare mood boards, space plans, layout drawings, elevations, and 3D renderings to communicate design intent.
• Material and Finish Selection: Choose appropriate materials, finishes, lighting, and FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) for each project.
• Documentation: Produce detailed design specifications and construction documentation to guide procurement and execution.
• Collaboration and Coordination: Work with architects, engineers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure designs are implemented accurately and on schedule.
• Site Supervision: Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and adherence to design intent.
• Client Engagement: Present proposals to clients, manage feedback effectively, and refine designs as required.
• Industry Awareness: Stay updated with current design trends, new materials, and sustainable practices.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

• Education: Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous experience in interior design, with exposure to residential, commercial, or hospitality projects preferred.
• Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required. Knowledge of Maltese is an advantage.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate design concepts and project updates to clients and team members.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong collaborative skills, able to work effectively with clients, contractors, and colleagues.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and 3D visualisation tools.
• Organisation: Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Self-Motivated: Driven to deliver creative solutions and take initiative in project development.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to resolve design challenges and practical issues on-site.
