Role Overview
The Licensing & Regulatory Administrator will provide essential support to the team handling compliance and licensing matters, particularly within the iGaming and Gambling sector. The role involves assisting with regulatory tasks, maintaining documentation, and ensuring timely submissions, while supporting a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Licensing Support: Assist in the preparation, submission, and tracking of licensing applications, renewals, and approvals across multiple jurisdictions.
- Regulatory Administration: Manage regulatory documentation, ensuring compliance obligations are met and information is accurately organised and shared with relevant team members.
- Compliance Monitoring: Support ongoing compliance requirements by keeping up-to-date with regulatory developments locally and internationally, escalating relevant updates to senior staff.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate with regulatory authorities on behalf of clients, preparing correspondence and supporting application submissions.
- Audit and Documentation: Prepare and organise compliance documentation for audits and inspections, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred but not essential.
- Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in a compliance-focused role, ideally with exposure to licensing and regulatory work in regulated industries.
- Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken English; Maltese proficiency would be an advantage.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to draft clear and accurate documentation, and effectively convey information to stakeholders.
- Interpersonal Skills: Collaborative team player capable of building strong working relationships internally and externally.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in preparing licensing applications and regulatory/compliance documentation, with a solid understanding of Maltese licensing regulations.
- Organisation: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines efficiently.
- Self-Motivated: Proactive and able to work independently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrates critical thinking to address challenges and ensure compliance standards are met.
