Meteorologist

• Collect, monitor, and analyse meteorological data from satellites, radar, weather stations, and forecasting models.  
• Prepare and communicate accurate weather forecasts, warnings, and climate reports for relevant stakeholders and the public.  
• Monitor severe weather conditions and provide timely updates, alerts, and recommendations to support public safety and operational planning.  
• Maintain forecasting systems, conduct meteorological research, and ensure compliance with scientific standards and organisational procedures. 

Educational and skill requirements
Applicant Must:

• Be fluent in English and/or Maltese   
• Be customer-oriented   
• Be willing to learn and work effectively as part of a team   
• Have relevant experience in the position applied for
