

Product Manager
We are looking for a Product Manager to join our current Commercial Team who are focused on continuously evaluating and fine-tuning our product portfolio to ensure that our customers find the best selection of products when they visit our stores.
In order to succeed in this exciting role, we are on the lookout for a dynamic, results-driven individual who is numerate and has a good eye for detail. Excellent communication and organizational skills will also be a fundamental requirement for the applicant to possess. A high level of proficiency in the Microsoft suite is also essential.
Able to think through issues logically and with an innovative outlook, you will form part of a team that will engage continually with our suppliers and help shape our product portfolio, be involved in the execution of game-changing strategies to drive product performance and market expansion, work hand in hand with our Marketing Team, coordinate implementation of agreed strategies and promotions with our Operations Team to ensure our products align perfectly with business goals so as to remain at the forefront of innovation, driving revenue growth and taking our product offerings to new heights.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Market and shopper behavioural insights via market visits.
- Sustaining and developing average margin by item group within the department.
- Take decisions plan and supervise all assortments and products via web portal and delisting of products within the respective departments to drive further revenue and profitability by analysing performance.
- Positioning and placement planning and building planograms of all products of the respective departments in new and established stores.
- Liaises with operations to ensure appropriate implementation of all planograms.
- Make any necessary changes in product categorisation.
- Coordinate the development of communication tools with other PMs, the Marketing Team, Operations and other stakeholders accordingly so to ensure the smooth development of all projects and initiatives.
- Select products to be placed on promotions and coordinate with Marketing and Operations, the activity and promotion scheduled, activation in-store via ‘bancarelle’ and promo shelves and ensure stock availability in shops.
- Any other tasks delegated by the CCO according to company’s needs.
Qualifications:
- A degree or similar qualification in Sales/Marketing/Management or a similar field is required.
- At least 2 years of Previous experience in product management, project management, or a related field (for entry-level or mid-level roles) is considered as an asset.
