Projects / Site Coordinator (Construction and Finishes)

We are currently seeking a motivated Projects / Site Coordinator specializing in the construction and finishes sector, to join our team. The successful candidate will report to the Projects Manager and will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction projects from inception to completion, with a focus on ensuring quality finishes and adherence to project timelines.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of construction projects related to the building and finishes section, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
  • Manage project schedules and timelines, proactively identifying potential delays and implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Coordinate the procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies required for construction projects.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and other project documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes, and other project-related documentation as required.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Educational and skill requirements
  • Proven experience as a Projects/Site Coordinator or similar role in the construction industry, with a focus on building and finishes.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and finishes, with an emphasis on quality assurance and control.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (experience in utilizing computer-aided design [CAD] software will be considered an asset).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required. Being in possession of an EU driving license is mandatory.
